An analysis of nationwide InEK data by Universitätsklinik Regensburg shows that only 20% of patients with peritoneal mesothelioma receive surgical treatment, even though guidelines recommend CRS/HIPEC or PIPAC.

Adjuvant PIPAC in advanced ovarian cancer: Longer survival in a new randomised trial
The randomised phase II trial PIPAC-OVA shows that additional PIPAC therapy after incomplete tumour removal prolonged progression-free survival by around 7 months and overall survival by around 8 months.
