Research findings and the scientific background of PIPAC therapy

Our research for better therapies

At the German PIPAC Center, treatment and research go together. Our team has been working on the further development of PIPAC therapy for more than 13 years, so that people with peritoneal cancer can be treated better.

Research at the PIPAC Center

Research as the foundation for progress

Progress in PIPAC therapy rests on years of scientific work. At our centre, clinical experience and new research findings feed directly into the treatment of our patients.

Our research focuses on the further development of the PIPAC procedure, the optimisation of dosages and treatment protocols, studies on efficacy and tolerability, and collaboration with national and international research institutions.

Our research has formed the basis for more than 35 scientific publications in renowned journals. It provides the foundation for the continuous improvement of treatment and for the worldwide adoption of the PIPAC method.
